About This Game From the developers of NeuroVoider, ScourgeBringer is a fast-paced free-moving roguelite platformer. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious entity wreaked havoc on all humanity, ScourgeBringer puts you in the shoes of the deadliest warrior of her clan: Kyhra. ScourgeBringer is a game that exists in your fingers. It's an action roguelite fidgetspinner about bish-bash-boshing across single screen levels of enemies. The protagonist Kyhra has a sword for slashing, a drone that can fire a blast of bullets, and a set of movements that feel sublime to control.

ScourgeBringer is a fast paced roguelike platforming adventure where you slash, blast, smash and dash your way through a beautifully animated pixel art dungeon as you fight to save humanity from a deadly Scourge.

In ScourgeBringer you take control of Kyhra, a badass sword-wielding warrior who is fighting back against a mysterious structure of unknown origin that’s spreading untold death across your lands. You must enter the ever shifting structure where you will slash and shoot your way through swarms of ancient machines and powerful bosses as you discover the secrets of the Scourge and put an end to its destruction.

It’s a great looking game 2D platforming gameplay that’s fondly reminiscent of Celeste, but with much more of a focus on its fast, fluid combat. Attack is the best form of defense in ScourgeBringer, with promise of a “frantic combat system focused only on attacking”, and your multidirectional dash attack looks particularly handy for dashing between enemies and turning them into scrap metal.
